781 King St W 514 - KING WEST
Listed at $399,000, this 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom (though there is no bath) loft in the much sought after King West Gotham Lofts seems like a pretty good deal.
The layout is similar to the 363 Sorauren Avenue, Roncesvalles loft I posted a few weeks ago but it is a lot cheaper.
$170,000 cheaper actually.
Even though this one doesn't have the deck and extra 'office' space, I like this one a lot more.
The Roncesvalles loft is nice in a tradional way but I like how this one is more 'lofty'.

The built in bookshelves are interesting and there is a lot of storage.
The 'dining room' area could probably be bigger as well. I think a long table that sticks out more into the room could be added and it could serve as a separation to the living room as well as more counter space. Maybe they are leaving it open like that so they can do indoor bowling otherwise what would the bowling pins in the baskets on the bookshelves be for.
Or maybe they bowl in the hallway. It is REALLY long.
I am starting to see a leopard print carpet trend happening....
UPDATE: thanks to the reader who commented on the cranes that can be seen through the drapes. Looks like a massive building is going up beside this loft. It will block out some light but at least there will be a courtyard separating the buildings.
This helps explain the price...
