This 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom house on a 90 x 172 foot lot is for sale for $1,600,000. There is currently a huge sign out front saying that is for sale by Owner for Development.
Why would anyone want to tear THIS down!?!

This is a huge lot close to downtown but the area it is in is a bit sketchy. Playter Estates is selling at crazy prices but this is north of Playter Estates and West of East York.
I have no idea what will go up here. Maybe an apartment building or maybe townhouses but a $1,300,000 townhouse in this location might be a hard sell and it is surround by apartments already.
Looks like others feel the same way because this house has been listed since September of 2011 when it was priced at $1,950,000 and being sold as 'Stately White House North'. That is funny.
The price was then dropped to $1,750,000 at the end of October.
I don't think they will sell it at the current price either.
It will be interesting to see what happens to it!
$900,000 townhouses is my vote but then those will have a hard time selling as well.
