196 Grace Street - BICKFORD PARK
This house has been on the market for a few weeks. I am surprised they haven't dropped the price yet.
This is what it used to look like when it was listed at $649,900...
It has been gutted and is now listed at $1,489,000.
It has been on the market since January when it was listed for $1,549,000.
For that sized house, this better be amazing on the inside!
It isn't.
It is 3+1 bedrooms and 5 baths on a 20.33 x 125 foot lot. And it is an all around awful flip.
The listing says it is an 'Urban Shelter Home Experience Opportunity'.
What does that mean!?! Is that the builder? Or is it referring to the 'urban chalet cottage barn blue mountain motif' as the reader who sent in this link described it (thanks Toth!).
What is with the doors!?! And the brick....if you read this blog, you know my feeling about exposed brick. There is way to much brick happening here.
That kitchen....Geesh!!
This is a wide semi that had a LOT of potential and it is just messed up.
Just because someone crazily paid $1,625,000 for the place at 456 Euclid Avenue...no one is going to pay $1.5 million for this.
Those barn doors and kitchen are really a deal breaker. So is the dungeon wall basement....
Makes the house at 14 Delaware a few streets west seem like a steal! I would take that IKEA kitchen over this one any day! And that house is almost $300,000 LESS!
