6 Melbourne Place - PARKDALE
This 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom(?) mews house on a 27.08 x 47.83 foot lot kind of reminds me of the house at 438 Sumach Street in Cabbagetown that was listed in November.
That house was listed at $629,000. It was on a 27.67 x 25 foot lot and I thought it would sell for $613,000 though I am not sure of the final price.
This house is slightly larger, has 2 more bathroom (though I wouldn't exactly call them actual bathrooms), and a backyard. Both have a parking spot.
This house is listed at $689,000.
I really like it. I like the outside, the inside is bright, the fireplace is nice and so is the kitchen.
The master bedroom doesn't have a proper washroom, just a toilet and a sink in the corner. It's a little weird but also, for some reason, a little charming in this space.
I really like that painting in the kitchen. It makes what could feel like a small space seem bigger.
For many, this isn't the ideal location but for others, it is perfect.
I don't think this will sit for long and I do think it will go close to asking. Just not exactly asking.
Maybe something closer to $659,000.
But what is going on in that basement? It's like one big washroom! I am confused.
