RELISTED - 52 Post Road - BRIDAL PATH
This 15,000 square foot, 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom house has been listed for a while.
I last posted it in January 2012 when it was listed at $13,995,000.
Since then it was relisted in July 2012 for.....$13,995,000.
It didn't sell and was then featured as a Toronto Life House of the Week (the place where houses that aren't selling go).
Toronto Life compared it to Suzanne Roger's house (which isn't far off).
For me, it's a little more Steff from Pretty in Pink...
That is probably why it has been relisted.
It is a little too 80s.
It is also very similar to the former home of this family...

This is what it looks like now that Petra Eccleston bought it for $85,000,000, put who knows how much into it, and got rid of 'the old lady stuff'...
In only 15,000 square feet, you aren't going to get a department store for a dressing room but you can definitely get rid of 'the old lady stuff' and make this place pretty amazing.
But first you have to shell out the $13,500,000 that the owners aren't budging on plus probably the same amount to do a reno like the one above....
We will see another relist by spring.
