Though this house needs work, if you are looking for a mid-century house with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms to fix up, this is a pretty good option.
This house was listed at $749,000.
It sold in 6 days for $840,000.
Considering that it sits on a 60 x 115 foot lot, it is VERY possible that this is getting torn down.
It has a similar feel though to the Harry B. Kohl house at 183 Confederation Drive in Scarborough that was restored.
The back of the house is a little odd and it looks like rooms were added in bits and pieces. But all the brick is the same so I am not sure that it was. As for the brick, it isn't the best but for a good sized 4 bedrooms house with a large backyard in Don Mills, this isn't bad.
And it is around the corner from a house at 87 Berkinshaw Crescent that was listed at $1,349,000 and that place had a really small backyard and no dining room or family room.
This house, with a lot less money, could be much better.
But it will probably be a new build.
PS. If it is getting restored, keep the bannister. I love that bannister but it probably isn't to code.
