SOLD - 63 Macpherson Avenue - SUMMERHILL
This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom semi on a 19 x 120 foot lot in Summerhill just sold...
For $1,320,000!!
And it's basically a gutter.
Is this insane?
Well, the 2 bedroom down the street at 125 Macpherson is listed at $2,195,000....but there is no WAY it will sell for that much.
And there was that house at 94 Macpherson that was a similar size on an 18 x 120 foot lot that sold for $200,000 less at $1,110,000, but it was on the north side of the street.
And what about the Holly Hobbie house at 143 Macpherson that was first listed at $1,395,000 and eventually sold for $1,195,000?
It seems a little insane to me.
Then again, it is still less than the house at 115 Summerhill Avenue that sold for $1,327,000!
But even though it is a little insane, this house could be great.
The first thing I thought of when I saw that kitchen was of Mandy Milks's row house kitchen that has recently been featured on Canadian House and Home....
Plus, this kitchen has that amazing vent that disappears into the counter!!!!!!
This house could be great. It just needs a lot of work and a lot of money to make it great (though that green carpet with the yellow rug is kind of great in its own way).
This was an emotional buy and I don't think it will drive other semis up in the neighbourhood....
But if 125 Macpherson sells anywhere close to $2 million, I will take that all back.
