388 Margueretta Street - BLOORDALE
This is a really good detached 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house on a 20.5 x 110 foot lot with one parking spot just north of Bloor.
Problem is, there is only one bathroom. Oh, and the windows look a little on the rough side.
But the price is right.
This house is listed at $599,900.
It is currently move right in but the basement isn't finished and another bathroom could be added there. It has a tin ceiling which I don't love (except for the one at 54 Stanley Terrace) but the kitchen is fine. Not amazing, but fine. Plus, it has new appliances! And the living space is a good size. Actually, when I first looked at the living room rug, I thought it was this rug from Land of Nod...
But it isn't. Love that rug.
If you wanted to, you could probably redo the kitchen and open up the back with a family room, then add good doors that open to the yard. Then you would have a great house, with a finished basement, new kitchen and family room for about $750,000. There is even room for a new addition like the neighbours. Speaking of the neighbours, do they know their brick is falling in?
Though this price seems great for a detached.....things in this neighbourhood, like the house I posted last week at 329 Perth Avenue, are going way over asking. And a detached in this neighbourhood in this shape with parking!!!!
It's going over.
Probably closer to $725,000.
It does look pretty small compared to the neighbour though!
