238 Davenport Road #302 - ANNEX
This 1+1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, 2,200 square foot condo with 2 parking spots on the north east corner of this building located on the north west corner of Avenue and Davenport feels like it has been listed forever. Or maybe I am confusing it with the 4 bedroom in the building at #303 that was initially listed at $4.2 and has now dropped to $3,580,000.
This condo has recently been the BlogTO Condo of the Week and the Toronto Life Condo of the Week. It is apparently owned by Tamara Mimran of MOON Apparel. She is also the daughter of Saul Mimran and niece of Joe Mimran, the brother duo behind Club Monaco with Alfred Sung, who also just sold his house last year.
But I wonder how long it has been in the current ownership because there is a listing out there where the interior photos look like this...
Maybe the Mimran just redecorated.
This condo is listed at $2,475,000.
For a one bedroom, that seems like a lot, even if it is designed by Powell and Bonnell. By the way, love this house from their website...
Back to this condo..
It is beautiful. But I am with the commentor from the BlogTO post who mentioned that the new Menkes Pears condo building that is going up is going to block part of the view of this condo...
And that is a BIG problem, especially at $2.5 million and condo fees of $1,336.28/month.
Then again, the slightly larger, almost mirrored 2 bedroom unit at #301 was listed at $2,650,000...
But though I love this condo (even with the dressing room through the bathroom), this is going to be a tough sell.
