149 Withrow Avenue - RIVERDALE
This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom semi on a 16.5 x 137 foot lot might look familiar.
And that is because it is the house that is attached to the flip at 147 Withrow Avenue that I posted in January. The house that I thought had no 'curb appeal'.
This one isn't much better but I can say it is better than the house on the other side!
That house is kind of in rough shape (though I think it has since been fixed up).
The house at 147 Withrow was a good house, not my favourite flip, but good. It was listed at $799,900. I thought it was high and would probably sell around $735,000.
After a price drop 3 days later to $749,900, that house finally sold for $715,000.
Though both houses are very similar, I prefer this house. I don't love the kitchen colour but that could be painted. If you wanted to spend the money on new counter, that island could become an area for stools and the area with the table could become a comfy sitting area. I also prefer the style of the bathrooms in this house. Not all the windows are new but it has a good basement, and this house has a much better deck, and grass instead of pea gravel!!!
This house is listed at $739,900.
I think it will sell for $745,000.
To me, it just shows better than 147.
