AND IT WENT FOR - 161 High Park Avenue - HIGH PARK

Last week, I posted this 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom flip on a 25 x 200 foot lot at 161 High Park Avenue.

It was a flip that was first listed in January 2012.  It was a gutter and the asking price was $1,149,000.

I thought that was crazy and clearly so did others becuase the price was eventually dropped to $849,700 in November 2012.

And this is what it is now!  It's a big improvement.

Though I didn't really get the first floor layout with the dining room at the front, the huge empty space in the kitchen that could have had a table, and the living room being in the room that should be the family room, I thought this wasn't a bad flip.

It was listed at $1,549,000.

Considering that the house at 225 High Park Avenue that needed work had just sold for $1,652,000, I thought this would sell fast and over ask.

Maybe even $1,630,000.

It sold...

For $1,675,000!!
