52 Heath Street East - DEER PARK
In November, a reader sent in this listing for a 5+2 bedroom, 8 bathroom house on a 29 x 132 foot lot.
Obviously, it has a lot of bedrooms...
But it also has those fricking railings. Where does one BUY railings like that!?!
I am really not into a lot of the other design choices here either. Why did they put a second living room in that spot and the table in the kitchen? Wouldn't it make more sense to have a dining room and a family room in the kitchen instead of 2 living rooms side by side?
Oh wait, there is a formal dining room too, and it looks like there isn't enough room for a proper family room area in the kitchen.
This is a weird layout.
The kitchen is fine. I am angry about the diagonal floors though.
Upstairs...more of the same. Diagonal floors, odd bathroom vanities....
There is basically no backyard, but there are 2 large garages.
This is what this house used to look like when it was for sale in April 2012 (not sure of the price)...
After being flipped and listed in November, the asking price was........
$3,449,000.
Unsurprisingly, it didn't sell.
Five days ago, the price was dropped...
To $3,399,000.
Ummm....
At this price, I am taking the church/castle house at 22 Wilberton Road over this house any day.
