This is a 5+1 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a 44 x 179.41 foot lot.
It looks like a classic 'Sears Modern Home' from the first half of the century. That's right. Sears Roebuck used to be into building houses and they had a catalogue where you could pick your house style, all the materials would be shipped to you via train, and you would organize the build on your own.
This house looks like it could be 'The Vallonia' from the 1927-1932 catalogue ...
But with a longer second story window, an enclosed front porch, and second floor sunroom.
And it also looks like it hasn't been touched since that series of Sears Roebuck homes were built.
The kitchen has been redone recently and the bathrooms are 'new', but the rest looks a little run down.
Though I think this house could be fixed up and be great, between no useable basement, most likely really old wiring, perhaps some structural issues (second floor sunroom), only 2 bathrooms for 5 bedrooms...
For an asking price of $1,324,000....
I don't think it is worth it.
But 2 new 20 foot townhouses in a great area?
Definitely.
This won't sit for long.
