Two days.
That's how long this 5+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom house on a 37.5 x 139 foot lot at 187 Inglewood Drive in Moore Park was on the market before it sold.
And I am not surprised that it sold so fast.
It is a great house!
It looks like it has recently been renovated and I really, really like it. Normally, that kitchen wouldn't be my thing but I really like it here. The house, with the built-ins in two of the rooms on the second floor, and the 2 rooms on the third floor, is really only a 3 bedroom house, but it could easily be made into 4 with a wall and little hallway added upstairs. So, it would end up being a 4 bedroom house with a second floor family room (not to mention the one off the kitchen) and an office.
The basement is a bit odd with the tile, but if that isn't your thing, that could be changed.
The only problem with this house (besides the washer/drawer) is the backyard. It's pretty much all driveway!
It was listed at $2,195,000.
It sold...
For $#,###,###.
Hmmm...would have thought closer to $2,395,000 (maybe a little less with that backyard)!
So, if you had $2 million to spend on a house...
Would it be the house I posted on Friday at 11 Ellis Gardens in Swansea...
Or this place?
Even thought this backyard is all driveway, and even if that pond in the backyard of Ellis isn't a mosquito heaven (which it looks like it is)...
I would pick this place hands down.
(I still think someone is going to love Ellis though!)
