AND IT WENT FOR - 10 Hawthorn Avenue - ROSEDALE

I have to admit, I am all kinds of shocked about this one!

This 5+2 bedroom, 8 bathroom house on a 60 x 150 foot lot at 10 Hawthorn Avenue in South Rosedale was first listed in October 2012.

The asking price was $5,398,000.

It's an amazing house, and the only changes I would make would be some curtains, some paint, and the floor colour (okay, not necessarily an cheap job).

But regardless of how great and large the house was, I thought it was WAY over priced.

It never sold and, a little over a month ago, it was relisted...

At $5,500,000.

I thought there was no way this was a $5.5 house.

I was wrong.  It took 39 days, but this house finally sold....

Not quite at $5.5, but WAY more than I thought it would sell for.

This house just sold...
