AND IT WENT FOR (AGAIN) - 184 Lisgar Street - BEACONSFIELD VILLAGE

A littl over a year ago in July 2013, I posted this 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house on a 16.1 x 32.7 foot lot at 184 Lisgar Street in Beaconsfield Village.

The asking price was $409,000.

It needed a lot of work to update it, but I thought it had the potential to be like the 600 square foot converted public restroom in London, England that used to look like this...

And ended up looking like this...

I thought this place would sell closer to $359,000.

It eventually sold by September for $385,000.

Then in June 2014, it was on the market again and by the same owner.  This time the asking price was $475,000.

It just sold...

For $470,000.

That's a 22% increase in just one year.
