This is a 5+1 bedroom, 6 bathroom new build on a 34* x 117.75 foot lot at 308B Rose Park Drive in Moore Park.
If you are wondering why it is a 'B', it's because this is what was sitting on the lot before...
So, it was a large house that needed a LOT of work.
According to this story in the South Bayview Bulldog, it sat on a 68 foot lot and was sold conditionally in January 2013 pending the approval of the teardown of the house above to make room for the 2 new homes.
I am not sure what the house sold for (I am thinking it was around $2,695,000), but it was listed for $2,495,000.
And it looks like they got the approval.
It is now a new build and I like it. I prefer the yellow brick of this house versus the red brick neighbour that you can see in the photos of the backyard, but I am feeling like something is missing on the stone above the garage.
Inside, the house is great if you are into this style. I get the office (that could be a small living room) at the front when there is a family room this large. I am just kind of getting sick of the animal skull as art thing. Is it just me?
The kitchen is good and I love the white counter tops through out the house.
The bedrooms are large, the bathrooms are good, the back yard is a good size...
But there are no photos of the basement.
It was listed at $2,775,000.
It sold in 10 days...
For $2,800,000.
