If the yellow house above looks familiar, it's because I posted it in May 2012.
It's the house that had this kitchen...
Which reminded me a lot of the kitchen in the house at 285 Brunswick Avenue in the Annex that I had posted in March 2012...
This house is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom semi on a 17.5 x 132.08 foot lot with a garage.
The listing says that it has been marvelously renovated. But it hasn't been touched since the last sale in 2012.
A few lights have been changed and some walls have been painted. But otherwise, it is the exact same. Except this house now has a LOT of red furniture.
I would like to think it is because they are big fans of the New York City Breakers...
But I think it might have something to do with their love of the Danish flag...
There is so much red that even the laundry in the red washer and dryer is covered in red!
Which makes it kind of weird that they painted over these red garage doors and made them black...
In 2012, this house was listed at $749,900. I thought it could sell for $825,000.
According to a reader and a bidder from 2012, this house sold for $856,100.
Two years later, with no changes (they may have added those patio wood tiles in the basement), it is listed again.
The new asking price is $945,000.
Well, if the market has been going up by 10% each year for the last few years (which is a number I came to based on my own observations and no stats whatsoever*)...
This house should sell for $1,027,000.
P.S. The stats say 8%. I can't find it now, but I think I read it in the Star.
