Then you are going to love this place.
I don't love the look of the house from the outside so much. It kind of reminds me of an interstate rest area like this one in Pennsylvania...
Or a parks and rec building like this one in Maryland (can't find one from Toronto, but I know you know what I am talking about)...
But inside, I love it.
Like the house at 31 Edenbrook, this house is like a time capsule. But this house looks like nothing has changed in 40 years while Edenbrook looks like it could all be new, just in the style of the house.
There is so much that I love about this place.
The coffee tables...
The closets...
The bars...

I love the tile, I love the movie theatre, I love the massive backyard and the incredible view.
It is a 5 bedroom, 9 bathroom house on a 308.54 x 827.15 foot ravine lot.
According to this New York Times ad, it was listed in September for $18,000,000 (think that is meant to be Canadian $s but when you use the exchange button on the site, it comes out as $20,378436.43 CDN).
As of today, that ad has been updated and this house is now listed at $16,800,000 (again, the exchange on the NYT site has it listed at $19,019,874 CDN).
It really is a great house if you are into this style. The thing is, the location might not be for everyone. I suppose technically this is located in Lawrence Park, but as it is a dead end street smushed between the massive Sunnybrook Hospital and the York University Campus...
I kind of think it needs its own distinction. Actually, at 6 acres, this house alone might need it's own distinction.
But because it is a random street, some people might not love it, even if this is one of the best properties in the city.
If this house is your style, and the idea of the street is appealing (or you can overlook it for the house and property), this is an amazing house....if it were priced just a little lower.
