78 Wychwood Park - WYCHWOOD PARK

This is a 2+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on a 121.39 x 145.34 foot lot at 78 Wychwood Park in Wychwood Park.

As I have mentioned before in the posts for 4 Wychwood Park....

That sold for $4,675,000 a year ago as well...

This area kind of gives me the creeps.

Which is why I don't post a lot of houses in this area (not to mention that they don't come on the market very often) and why, though it is a nice house and it has been listed for a month, I haven't posted it.

But then I took a second look and noticed the Belgian country kitchen...

It's the same kitchen that Lynda Reeves showed the readers of Canadian House and Home in July 2013...

And it is the kitchen of Hudson's Bay Company's vice-chairman Bonnie Brooks.

Thank GOD they have finally decided to change those radio ads!!! Just me?

Looks like Brooks bought the house around 2010 when it was listed at $2,100,000 and also the Toronto Life House of the Week.

Which was around the time the Canadian House and Home video of Bonnie Brooks loft aired...

So, maybe she was living in the loft while she did the renos on this place...

Because she clearly did a LOT of work to this house and I love it. Though the house before was nice, it was dated with an 80s feel (but some awesome carpets).

The new look is loft like and, though I don't love stone floors, it looks amazing here.

And I love the kitchen.

This house is now listed at $2,995,000.

Considering the amount of work that was put into this place to update it, this doesn't seem outrageous.

But it is in Wychwood Park which is really not for everyone.

It's only 2 bedrooms...

And it's basically located right on Davenport...
