Last Tuesday, I posted this 6 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a 24 x 119.28 foot lot at 306 Wellesley Street East in Cabbagetown.

I first posted it in October 2011.  It had been listed for $999,000.  I was not sure if it had sold or if it had been taken off the market.

I just thought it was worth a post.

Turns out, it has been a hostel (not sure for how long)....and if you want to stay tonight, apparently there is a room (or 4) available and 2 can stay for $56.

But regardless of what it's purpose is now, this house could be amazing.

Last Saturday, it was listed again at $1,299,000.

I thought it was selling before the neighbour at 308 Wellesley Street East, but I thought it was selling closer to $1,099,000.

Turns out a reader loved even more.

On November 6, two days after I posted this house....

Someone commented saying they had just bought it.

It sold...

For $1,320,000.
