AND IT WENT FOR - 9 Barton Road - ANNEX
Earlier today, I posted this 4+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom semi on a 25 x 150 foot lot at 9 Barton Road in the Annex.
It was a good looking house that had been done by a previous owner who was an architect.
I didn't think it was going to be for everyone.
While it was large and bright with 2 front pad parking spots (which in retrospect was probably a big deal) and an income unit in the basement...
I thought the $1,880,000 asking price might be a little high.
There was no proper privacy fence, the kitchen was not the typical island kitchen, and part of the cupboards were blocked by the vent hood. And the 'sunrooms' were weird.
But it was a large house. Once you saw the 3rd floor....you forgot about the 'sunrooms'.
But unless they found someone that didn't want to change anything, I thought they would have a hard time getting asking.
I was wrong.
This house had multiple bids and sold...
For $2,005,000.
Just $20,000 short of the house at 455 Euclid Avenue in Little Italy that I compared it to that basically had the exact same 3rd floor.
So, what do you think? Was it the 3rd floor that sold it!?!
P.S. Forgot to mention in the first post.... is this a neon light of a woman sitting cross legged on the floor!?!
And I mean this...
Not this...
