55A Rowanwood Avenue - ROSEDALE
Like the house at 20 Forest Ridge Drive in Upper Forest Hill that I posted yesterday...
The inside of this 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom semi at 55A Rowanwood Avenue just steps to Yonge Street in South Rosedale is not what you are expecting when you see the front of the house.
I was expecting some wall-to-wall carpeting like this...
And a kitchen like the one from 143 Macpherson Avenue...
And from the BEFORE photos of this house when it was last listed in October 2014 for $1,585,000...
I wasn't so far off.
So, it's 4 months later and it looks like this is a flip.
When I saw the floor in the living room...
It reminded me a lot of floors of Bonnie Brooks' house at 78 Wychwood Park...
And as it turns out, both were designed by Jill Kantelberg of Kantelberg & Co..
Though I prefer a wood floor, you have to admit, this place is pretty amazing.
I love this table...
And if you are into brown like this carpet in the basement...
That reminds me of Starsky's sweater...
Or a Big Lebowski sweater*...
You probably love this place.
So....this house was listed just under $1.6 in October, and now that I think of it, I think I remember it and being shocked that it sold fast and for closer to $1.8 (I could be wrong).
This house that has had no change to the floor plan is now listed for $1,400,000 more than what I think it sold for just 4 months ago.
So....ummm...it might be a great design...
But is it $3,150,000 great!?!
