279 Indian Road - RONCESVALLES/HIGH PARK
At the end of March, I posted a 5 unit multiplex house on a 29.5 x 114.13 foot lot at 273 Indian Road in Roncesvalles (or High Park depending on who you ask)...
It was basically this house that is a 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom house on a 30 x 127.15 foot lot with 2 car (front pad?) parking just 3 doors down at 279 Indian Road that has been fully renovated by blackLAB architects.
And it's a great modern house.
Though that open bathroom in the master bathroom might be a deal breaker for some (I don't think it would be very difficult to add a wall), at least the toilet is in a separate room with a door.
For me, the deal breaker would be the drawers closing right behind my head while I was sleeping, but I think that will be less of thing for most than the bathroom.
But other than the open bathroom and drawers behind the headboard, this is a really good family house.
It is listed at $2,098,000.
Considering the slightly larger house at 229 Wright Avenue...
Recently sold for $2,350,000
And the fact that the house down the street at 273 Indian Road (that needs a full gut to get to the state of this house) just sold for $1,720,000...
This house will probably sell fast, and possibly closer to $2,149,000...maybe a little more.
