PRICE DROP - 42 Fallingbrook Drive - BIRCH CLIFF/FALLINGBROOK
In December, I posted this 4+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on a 57 x 132 foot lot at 42 Fallingbrook Drive in Birch Cliff (click link to see photos).
It's a good house.
It had last been listed in 2008 for $1,790,000. I'm not sure what it sold for but since then, the new owners made some minor changes and added a pool.
In December, it was back on the market for $2,279,000.
Even though an 8% increase over 6 years would have made this a $2.7 house, I thought the asking price was a little high.
It never sold.
In the meantime, a very similar house 2 doors down at 38 Fallingbrook Avenue....
That I thought it was the same house from the outside photo when I first saw it listed at the beginning of March.
The asking price for that house without a pool or deck was $2,249,000.
Or $30,000 less than this house.
Looks like neither are having any luck selling because this house at 42 Fallingbrook Drive, which I like better and it has a pool and deck, just had a price drop...
To $2,195,000.
So....when's that price drop for 38 Fallingbrook's going to happen?
