AND IT WENT FOR - 214 Dunvegan Road - FOREST HILL

Three weeks ago, I posted this 3+2 bedroom, 6 bathroom house on a 50 x 159.16 foot lot at 214 Dunvegan Road in Forest Hill.

It was a great house that was designed by Hariri Pontarini, the same architects behind the McKinsey and Company offices...

And 1 Bloor Street East (which seems to have shot up in the last 2 weeks!!!)...

Among many others.

This house was built in 1997 before they got into larger projects.  And though it is almost 20 years, it still works today.

It was listed at $3,950,000.

Because it was a great house (if this is your style) on a good lot on the lower end of the price point for this neighbourhood, I thought it would sell fast and over ask.

I thought this house would sell around $4,200,000.

It took 2 weeks to sell and the final price was...

$3,835,000.

P.S.  Good point to the reader who pointed out the mold on the rooftop deck...
