AND IT WENT FOR - 1037 Craven Road - GREENWOOD-COXWELL

A little over a week ago, I posted this 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom house on a 29.5 x 83 foot lot at 1037 Craven Road in the Greenwood-Coxwell neighbourhood.

The outside was in good shape but not necessarily the best looking house.  Inside, it was also in good shape and was a great option for a 1 bedroom, especially if you liked red.

The basement though?  It was a little creepy.

But as it was, it was a good move-in ready house.  Or, it could be tear down or rebuild considering it was on a wide lot.

The asking price was $499,900.

Since the lot down the street at 1017 Craven Road had recently sold for $410,000 with no building whatsoever...

I thought this house that could be done with a first floor and basement reno and a second floor addition would probably sell closer to $535,000.

It sold...

For $529,000.
