AND IT WENT FOR - 299 Kennedy Avenue - HIGH PARK

In the middle of July, I posted this 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house on a 35 x 120 foot lot at 299 Kennedy Road in High Park.

It was a good looking house that had been renovated in 2012 with designe help by Connie Braemar.

Inside, I liked it for the most part.  

I didn't like the fireplace and the bathroom placement blocking the view and access to the backyard really bothered me.  And there was only one bathroom on the second floor for 4 bedrooms.  Not ideal for a family.  Oh, and the backyard was ALL deck.

So, though it was a good looking house, I thought the asking price of $1,734,000 would be a little high.

After 2 months on the market, it finally sold...

For $1,660,000.

Wonder if they are going to turn that back bedroom into a master ensuite.  That is not a bad idea and probably not too difficult considering there is the plumbing below in the powder room!
