44 Mayfield Avenue - SWANSEA
This is a 3 bedroom, 5 bathroom house on a 27 x 115.33 foot lot at 44 Mayfield Avenue in Swansea.
And with that lot size, with that many bathrooms, I don't get why this isn't a 4 bedroom house.
Especially since, from the before floor plans...
It looks like they gutted the whole house.
Here are the before photos (and I included them all because they are worth the look) from when it was listed in April 2015 first at $899,000 only to have an increase 6 days later to $969,000...
I'm not sure what it sold for, but 8 months later, the place has been flipped and is back on the market.
For the most part, I like what they have done (I am not including the brick on the front). I'm not sure I am really into the glossy, grey cupboards, but they are fine. The rooms are a good size with good bathrooms.
I just wish they had built a 2 storey addition to provide more first floor living space and to add another bedroom (or maybe just move the 2nd to 3rd floor staircase that is taking up a LOT of room).
And at an initial asking price of $1,799,900, I think people would expect more living space and a 4th bedroom.
So, it's not much of a surprise that this place had a price drop.
The new asking price is $1,699,900.
It still needs another drop.
