PRICE DROP - 12 Macpherson Avenue #5 - SUMMERHILL
Three weeks ago, I posted this 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom, 4,250 square foot church conversion at #5 12 Macpherson Avenue in Summerhill.
It was a condo that I first posted in June 2012 when the asking price was $3,250,000. But it had already been on the market for a few years. Here is the pricing history...
October 2010 - $3,995,000
February 2011 - $3,995,000
June 2011 - $3,695,000
After I posted it in June, it went off the market (I think) and came back in September 2015 at $3,795,000.
It finally sold in November 2015 for $3,586,000.
Annnnnd 6 months later, it was back on the market.
The asking price was $3,950,000...
Which was a 10% increase in only 6 months...
Then 2 days after I posted it, Toronto Life wrote an article pointed out that this house was currently the home of ScotiaBank's president and CEO, Brian Porter.
And I guess he really wants to sell for some reason because this house has already had a price drop.
The new asking price for this condo is...
$3,749,000.
Or a 5% increase for 6 months.
