SOLD - 41 Broadleaf Road - DON MILLS
This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a 60 x 234 foot ravine lot at 41 Broadleaf Road in Don Mills.
And when I saw it, I immediately though of the house at 183 Golfdale Gardens in Scarborough that I initially posted in November 2012...
It was a house designed by Harry B. Kohl, the same architect who designed the 'T' house at 2000 Strathallen Woods in Barrie...
And I wonder if this house was designed by Kohl as well.
Other than the fact that this house hasn't been updated like the Golfdale Gardens house was, it is basically the exact same house.
The Golfdale house was listed at $469,000 in 2012 and sold for $$475,000. It was then listed again in July 2014 for $619,000 with a price drop to $599,000, then $539,000 (I'm not sure what it sold for).
Even though it is the same house with this one needing work, this house was listed at $1,200,000 because of the location at Don Mills and Lawrence (wonder if the DVP is noisy)...
It sold in 6 days...
For $1,655,000.
And because of that price, unlike the Golfdale house, I don't think this one is staying.
