PRICE DROP - 103 Arundel Avenue - GREEKTOWN
At the end of July, I posted this 4+1 bedroom, 6 bathroom house on a 25.33 x 140 foot lot with a 2 car garage at 103 Arundel Avenue in Greektown.
It was a flip of a house that used to look like this...
As one reader pointed out, it was done by the same flippers that also did the house at 96 Simpson Avenue...
And they did the exact same kitchen in each house with the backsplash that I didn't really like (then again, I don't really like backsplash in general).
The wall colour might not be for everyone but I liked how it looked with the floors and the furniture and, overall, I really liked the house.
The house at 96 Simpson was listed at $1,749,000. It sold for $1,685,000.
This house that felt a little larger with better floors, but was basically the same, was listed at $2,890,000.
I thought it was a little high.
A few weeks after it was first listed, the price was dropped to $2,639,000...
Which was still just under $1,000,000 more than the house at 96 Simpson Avenue...
So........
It's no surprise that this house has had another price drop. The new asking price for this house is...
$2,499,000.
Or just $814,000 more than 96 Simpson.
