At the end of August, I posted this 3+1 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a 17 x 127 foot lot at 62 King Edward Avenue in the Woodbine-Lumsden neighbourhood.

It was a house that looked like this when it was listed at $599,000 in 2013...

And when I saw what they had done to the front of the house, my reaction was...

What was that!?!  I had never seen anything like it.

The asking price was $748,899,  By October, the price was down to $690,000.  By January, I posted that it hadn't sold and the price had been increased to $879,900.

But according to a reader, this house did in fact sell in October for $687,000!!!

The new owners put it for sale again in January at $799,000 with an offer date a week later.  But it didn't sell and that is when they bumped the price up to $899,000 with offers accepted anytime.

According to the reader, this house sold again on Friday...

For $850,000.

A $163,000...or a 24%...increase in 3 months.
