AND IT WENT FOR - 294 Carlton Street - CABBAGETOWN

In April, I posted this 3+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom semi on a 17.92 x 100 foot lot at 294 Carlton Street in Cabbagetown.

It wasn't my style, but it was a good semi.

The only problem (if you were into the style) was the hole in the ceiling of the kitchen...

That opened up in the floor of the bathroom above...

I don't get that at all.

But I did think the house would sell fast and over asking.  The asking price was $1,678,000.

It didn't sell fast or over ask and the price was dropped in June to $1,599,900.  Then again in July to $1,549,000.  And again in August to $1,499,000.

After 4 months on the market, this house finally sold...

$1,499,000.
