PRICE DROP - 220 Glen Road - ROSEDALE (1 Comment)

A month ago, I posted this 4+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom house with a detached garage (though I didn't think anything bigger than a motorcycle could fit between the houses) on a 29 x 100 foot lot at 220 Glen Road in Rosedale.

It was a flip of a house that I thought had sold a year or so ago for around $1.8.

A reader sent in a correction stating...

This house was bought for $1.5 in December 2013 and sold privately for $2.6 at the beginning of 2017.

So, that would explain the insane price tag.  Though it was a good flip, the layout of the first floor was weird with that living room and there was no family room.  And for a house that is listed at $3,498,000, most people would want a family room.

I thought it was WAY overpriced.

And considering that it was located around the corner from the 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom house on a 27.25 x 136 foot lot at 299 Glen Road...

That sold for $2,600,000 in June...

At $3.5 million?

It didn't sell and the price has been dropped.

The new asking price for this house is...

$3,488,000.
