SOLD - 56 Binscarth Road - ROSEDALE, TORONTO (3 Comments) *UPDATE*

This is a 5+1 bedroom, 8 bathroom house on a 50 x 150 foot lot at 56 Binscarth Road in north Rosedale.

If it looks familiar, it's because I posted it in April 2014 when the listing photo looked like this...

It is a house that looked like this in 2012 before it got fully gutted and redone...

At that time, I think it was listed around $3.3 million but I am not sure what it sold for.

After being renovated (from a quick google search I found that it was done by G. Collucci and Sons), it was back on the market in 2014 for $6,675,000. I thought it might sell under and a little closer to $6,300,000 (I was close), especially considering this was the deck that was built for an almost $7 million dollar home...

Then in the fall, I'm almost positive was back and I have been sitting on it for a while. Then a week ago, it was back on the market as a new listing with an asking price of $8,249,900...

Which I thought was the price in the fall so I thought it might sit a bit longer and I would have more time to post it.

Then, a reader pointed out to me that it has sold. And as of earlier today, I wasn't sure that was the case because it was still listed as for sale. Now, it is not.

So, it has sold but I am not sure for how much.

But I'm guessing if they listed last week at the same price from the fall, that it probably sold right around list.

P.S. They updated the back deck a little bit...

UPDATE: What is going on!?! As I mentioned on Thursday, this house was on the market still the morning that I posted this house. But I had been told that it sold from one reader and another reader confirmed that it sold for almost 2% over asking with 2 offers. And considering the person who apparently bought the house, I don't think the financing fell through.

But it is back up on Realtor.ca after being taken down on Thursday and it is not marked as 'SOLD' on the agent's site.

So, what is going on!?! Is this sold or what?
