155 Madison Avenue - ANNEX (4 Comments)

In February 2013, I posted a 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms on a 24.88 x 121 foot lot with 2 parking spots at 155 Madison Avenue in the Annex, Toronto.

I couldn't quite figure out what was going on with the house as it looked like there was a bedroom on the first floor, but the house had a ton of potential.

Now, 5 years later, it is back on the market and it has been completely redone.  And it is now a 5+1 bedroom, 6 bathroom house.

Overall, I like it but find the floors a little dark and I'm not crazy about that brown tile in the bathroom.  But for the most part, it is a really good house.

When I posted it in 2013, it had been listed at $1,395,000 and had sold just under that ask.

Without a reno, that price today would be about $2,275,000.

But it has been fully renovated so the asking price is clearly higher.  The asking price for this renovated house is...

$4,499,000.

Might be a bit high...

Unless they throw in this Johnny Depp meets Billy Ray Cyrus print...

P.S.  Are yellow framed chairs with black and white chevron print like the 2 in this house...
