A month ago, this 2+1 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with a detached garage on a 29.79 x 120 foot lot at 37 Armadale Avenue in the Swansea neighbourhood in Toronto was on the market.

It was a house that wass located a few doors down from the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a 30 x 120 foot lot that I posted a year ago at 31 Armadale Avenue…

Unlike this house, that house didn’t have much, if any, of the original features that this house has…

Which is fine, but I really like the charm of this house.

Normally, I am not crazy about so much dark wood panelling and trim but it works really well here with the kitchen and that white wood panelling in the back with those doors. It’s a really well done house.

Last year, the house at 31 Armadale was listed at $1,295,000. It looks like it may not have sold.

A year later, this house was on the market for $1,598,000. It sold…

For $1,620,000.
