I knew this house looked familiar.

The second I saw the outside of this 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on a 25 x 147 foot lot at 225 Havelock Street in Dufferin Grove in Toronto, I knew it looked familiar but this is not what came to mind…

It just looked familiar.

I posted this house years ago when it was a 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom house and one of the rooms looked like this…

Those stairs gave me serious ‘Flowers in the Attic’ vibes.

And what was with this toilet under the fuse box?

Otherwise, it was a good house that could be gutted or just have the kitchen redone with a few other touch ups.

But it looks like the people who bought the house did a gutter instead and they did a very good job.

And the basement toilet is now in an actual bathroom with a shower and a door.

When it was last listed, the asking price was $849,000. I thought it was definitely going over $900,000. It sold for $915,225.

It is now back on the market but for lease and not for sale.

The monthly asking price is…

$8,500.

But if it were for sale and not for lease, what do you think that price would be? I’m thinking $2,999,000 but it would likely sell over.
