AND IT WENT FOR - 32 Hampton Avenue - RIVERDALE, TORONTO

A couple of weeks ago, I posted this 3+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom house with a 2 car garage on a 21.25 x 128.74 foot lot at 32 Hampton Avenue in Riverdale in Toronto.

It was a house that used to look like this when it was for sale in 2016…

It was listed at $799,900 and sold for $1,101,000.

It was then renovated and back on the market in 2020 for $1,799,000 and it sold for $2,200,000. When I posted it in mid-October, the asking price was $2,189,000. I assumed they were looking for something closer to $2.6 but given the market, it was an interesting strategy.

Well, they didn’t quite get $2.6 but looks like the strategy worked because this house sold…

For $2,400,000.
