262 Brunswick Avenue - ANNEX

At just over 18 feet wide and more than 3000 square feet of space, this open concept home in the Annex has had every attention to detail paid to it in what looks like a recent reno.  Priced at $1,669,000, this isn't bad for the location and the fact that there are 4 bedrooms.  But it is a semi.  That and the slightly high price might deter people.

My guess is that this home is currently owned by one man and most likely an artist (see garage and do you think that is a self portrait of him as a boy in the office?) but it is more than capable of becoming a family home with 3 bedrooms on the second floor and a master bedroom on the third.  The current basement apartment could be turned into a playroom or kept as is to help pay the mortgage.

I don't usually like when hard wood is cut off to move to stone in a kitchen but it seems to work in this space. And I really like the kitchen.  The length of the island is great and I love how they have incorporated 5 stools. Great for entertaining!!  The washer and dryer in the first floor bathroom seems like a bit of an after thought though.  And they should put the vacuum away before taking pictures!

I am not crazy about the front facade or the two tier back deck but a new 2-car garage is a great thing for a family.  Maybe keep the Range Rover and ditch the Porsche though.
