$1,000,000 in six months!?! - SOUTH ROSEDALE
$1,000,000 is the amount the current owner of this house at 34 Chestnut Park feels is a reasonable increase from the last time it was listed....
6 months ago....
for $3,500,000.
Granted, the owner paid $#,###,###, 17% over asking but that was only 6 MONTHS AGO and they haven't touched the place.
It is now listed at $4,500,000!!!
Why did this person buy this in the first place? The current price will cover agents fees and land transfer taxes. There isn't a lot of money being made here. Just an opportunity to jack up the already jacked up prices in the real estate market!
But if you have an extra couple million kicking around and feel like going through an at least year long reno, then this could be a pretty great place with a fancy address in a fancy neighbourhood.
It does have 24 more feet of depth in the lot and one more bedroom than this place a few doors down and with $2,000,000 in renos, it would compare if not be even better.
But seriously, why did this person do this to the market? It's really annoying.
