This house is hideous!
But it is also AMAZING!
Unfortunately, it is no longer on the market. But given that this is a slow real estate week and the fact that I am guessing that this is a flip, I thought it was worth posting these photos as we wait for the big reveal!
This house has soooo much potential. It could be a great family home but it is soooo cold and outdated. What is with that copper paneling on the walls? And the wrought-iron fronts steps? I love that melting clock in the kitchen! That's a keeper. And what is that second level in the family room? What is the point? Is it to look at the lights over the city?
So many things wrong but the size is great for a family and the location is amazing. Right in Wychwood and on a nice street as well. And the yard is a good size.
I don't know if this is a 'to the studs' reno either so it could be done well at a fairly reasonable price.
But with the asking of $1,275,000, is it worth it? This is a neighbourhood that is only going to get more popular. And the lot size is good with a garage.
I think it is more of a $1,199,000 house, with $300,000 in renos.
Who wants to bet this is going to be on the market in the spring for $1,650,000!?!
(Crap! That sounds like a lot).
