39 Wells Hill Avenue - CASA LOMA

YES!
148%!!!!
UPDATE: There were also 15 offers!!
Clearly, who ever paid $1,375,000 for this Globe and Mail Done Deal isn't planning on living in this place as it is. They are either a flipper or a family that saw a great opportunity for a nice home.
This Hillcrest Casa Loma neighbourhood has been seeing a slow revitilization over the last 10 years. But 10 years ago, this place would have sold in the $600,000s. Now the revitilazation is fast a furious and a place like this, once gutted, and if done properly, will probably be worth $1,900,000. I can't see it being much more because it isn't a long lot so there is no room for an extension and the backyard is small.
So, this must be a family because if it is a flipper, they didn't do their math. Unless they are doing a cheap flip!
Whoever bought it, I am assuming they aren't going to keep that family room/bathroom with the yellow couch.
Or the tile in the kitchen. Where did that come from!?!
And they better not use that wrought iron and wood railing...
