11 Graymar Avenue - BATHURST MANOR

Don't let the front fool you...This is NOT a tear down!!!!

I can't figure out why the front of the house looks like it does but I suspect the owners want to blend in with the neighbours (see below)..

(is that a garbage bag firepit on the front yard!?!)

Back to the listing...

As I said, don't let the front fool you.

Just take a look inside....

It's great!  I suppose the original front door that was bricked and latticed over would have been where all those pictures are in the living room but it has now been moved to the side.

It has a living room, dining room, huge kitchen and family room....it is 4+1 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms on a 40 x 128 lot.

And the price is $839,000!!!!

I really like the kitchen.  It is bright.  Though I am normally not into stainless steel as counters, I like it as a backsplash here.  And I like that chalkboard wall above.

The master bed could have been tidied up a bit for the photos (they put the fitted sheet on the wrong way) but the room is huge.  Not sure what that step up thing on the bottom right is though.

One of the bedrooms is on the first floor.  That could always become an office if you only need 3+1 bedrooms.

The basement has high ceilings and is big, the other bedrooms are large...I REALLY want to see the bathrooms but there no photos...

$839,000!!

That is $10,000 less than what I think the Riverdale house in my last post will sell for.

The ridiculous look of the house from the front aside, with that yard, the bedrooms, the kitchen family room.... this is a $2,200,000 house if it were more central!

If $800,000-900,000 is your price range and you are looking for a family home in a good family neighbourhood (and aren't picky about being central), perhaps this house could sway you.

It probably wouldn't cost THAT much to fix up the front!

Maybe take out that tree in place of where the front door used to be...looks like that is going to be a 20 footer.  Not so good being that close to the house.

PS.  If more pictures become available, I will post them. (thanks to Cathie for sending in the listing!)
