124 Glencairn Avenue - LYTTON PARK

This 4+1 bedroom, 6 bathroom new build located on a 60 x 174 lot is pretty grand looking.  It is on a  street that has many different styles of house and I think I like all of them.  This one though seems a little out of place.  It is more of a Lawrence Park house.  Or Forest Hill...

But that wouldn't stop me from living here if I had $4,550,000 to spend on a house.

The lot is large.  The house was designed by well renowned architect Gordon Ridgley and built by Whitehall Homes.

The decor is appealing if you like purple couches (is this a trend?) and vomit inducing green bathrooms.  Actually, those are really the only CRAZy things though I do like the couches.  The boys room has some interesting art on the wall that I assume inspired the washroom colour but everything else is pretty tame.

I love the basement family room with the fireplace.

The house is steps to Yonge Street shopping and is located on a family friendly street without being in a stuffy neighbourhood.

Looks like these people have a massive cottage so there is no pool.  The yard is kind of screaming for a pool.  And maybe a more private back yard fence!

Otherwise, this is a house for any style.  Modern, traditional...

One of those circular couches would like good in the kitchen in that round window up against the table.....

Do you think this was a flip or just a weird instance of a reno then an unexpected move?

Hard to tell.
