71 Morningside Avenue - SWANSEA
This 3+2 bedroom, 5 bathroom new build located in Swansea, just south of Bloor West Village, certainly does not fit the look of the other houses on the street.
And it looks like the neighbours weren't so happy about it going up without the correct permits and being 30% larger than the allowed square footage for the lot.
Here is what one neighbour had to say back in March 2011:
"On another level, we're frustrated by the whole process. We and our neighbours have lived peacefully in this neighbourhood for many years," said Hughes. "As a result of one person developing the property without permits and erecting a house that is simply too large for the lot, everyone's lives have been turned upside down at great personal and financial expense."
Forget the size of the place, I would be frustrated by what the front looks like! I am not a fan of that 3 story deck at the front at all.
But I suppose the inside is alright. It seems like the dining room could be moved closer to the living room to accommodate a family room area (if you wanted one), the kitchen was done well and the bedrooms have a lot of space.
Plus, there is a rooftop HOT TUB and tv!
But for $1,298,000? I have a feeling it might suffer the fate of the 2 new builds I posted yesterday.
