If I was looking in Wychwood and had a tops of $1,000,000 to spend on a house, this would be it.
This 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house is listed at $819,000.
It is on a 35.5 x 133 lot.
That is pretty nuts.
The house itself it completely out of date except for the addition of some amazing track lighting.
I don't understand why ALL of the kitchen is in the butler area but I guess not much has changed about this house since it was built in 1911.
It's really a tear down but if you had $100,000 to add to the $819,000 asking, you could have a house with a good IKEA kitchen, maybe a freshened up bathroom, live here for 3 to 5 years until you can afford to do it all right...
The house might not be the best (though it really isn't that bad) but you have the land.
And this land is going to be worth so much more VERY soon.
And just because the place across the street won't sell doesn't mean this place is staying on the market....
This is a good example of different value only steps away. Are you thinking short term or long term?
