295 Seaton Street - CABBAGETOWN
When this house was sent to me by Janice (thanks!), I thought the price was high considering 6 months ago, houses in Cabbagetown weren`t seeing these prices (well, maybe this one but it had SOOOO much more potential).
Thing is, I have been travelling for a little under a week (hence the limited posts) and I missed some listings.
According to this site, in the last few days, 3 houses sold for way over asking in Cabbagetown (will do a write up when I get settled, thanks for your patience!).
So, maybe the asking price of $949,000 isn`t so outrageous. But when you consider the last few list prices of this house...
June 2009 - $674,500
September 2009 - $599,000
January 2010 - $629,000
Now it is $300,000 more without any obvious updates!
Actually, the whole place is a little run down.
I don`t know. Do you think Cabbagetown is the new Riverdale?
The agent clearly things this house at $949,000 is an 'At Last' Moment.
I think it is an $850,000 Moment.
