46 Castle Frank Road - ROSEDALE
This is a 3+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom townhouse just 2 doors north from the house in my last post at 48 Castle Frank.
It was listed intitially in March for $1,898,000 and the price was dropped yesterday to $1,789,990.
I didn't realize how much flat yard there was before the property dropped off to the Bayview Bloor off ramp. The neighbours at 48 must have a huge back yard!
The inside is not what I expected to see either. I really like it but I can't figure out if all that stuff has been there for decades and what was old is new again or if it has been recently designed. It was listed back in 2007 for $1,595,000 and again in 2009 for $1,550,000 so either it is the same person that has been trying to sell it for ages or it is a recent new owner with new furniture.
Everything in this place looks like it was bought from 1st Dibs.
I am a little underwhelmed by that kitchen but between the height of the ceilings and the space...this place is amazing.
Considering that the 2 bedroom townhouse at 56A Clarendon in South Hill sold for $1,415,000, you would think that this new price will attract a similar buyer. Too bad about that location overlooking the DVP off ramp and the Bayview extension...but with a new kitchen, this place could be amazing!
It will probably sell for $1,699,000 but if it weren't for that location...
